Guiyang ranks 23rd among China's 100 cities in digital economy

At the China International Digital Economy Expo, which was held in North China's Hebei province on Sept 6-8, a ranking of China's top 100 cities in terms of the development of the digital economy was released.

Guizhou's provincial capital of Guiyang ranked 23rd on the list.

Since 2013, Guiyang has been devoted to enhancing its core competitiveness by developing the big data industry, and has become a big data innovation hub relying on China's first big data comprehensive pilot zone and Big Data Expo.

The ranking was released by CCID Consulting's Research Center on the Digital Economy Industry and evaluates Chinese cities' digital economy facility construction, digital economy industrial development, digital governance, and data value.

CCID Consulting's Research Center on the Digital Economy Industry focuses on Chinese cities' digital economy development evaluation and has released various research results from the Digital Economic Development Index.

The research center has formed a complete digital economy evaluation system and provides digital economy development references for cities.
