Guizhou Medical University, Huawei join hands in education

Guizhou Medical University in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently signed a cooperation agreement with Huawei to co-establish a Huawei cloud college.

The cloud college will be established at the college of biology and engineering, which is an extension of Guizhou Medical University.

Together with Huawei, the college will promote and cultivate innovative and practical talents, enhance the cooperation between company and university, and promote the integrated development of new engineering and new medical science.

The college will strive to become a talent cultivation platform by integrating with production, education, research, commercialization, innovation and employment.

Relying on the advantages from both sides, Guizhou Medical University and Huawei will promote the in-depth integration of information technology and higher education to support Guizhou's strategies of rural vitalization, big data, and environmental protection.

In the future, the college of biology and engineering will further integrate resources and innovative measures with Huawei and Huawei's partners.
