Guiyang, Guian New Area announce best digital applications

The release activity of 2022 annual excellent digital application scenarios in Guiyang and Guian New Area was held on Dec 30. At the activity, companies with 20 excellent digital application scenarios were awarded.

The competition began receiving applications from contestants in October and collected 240 digital applications from 190 companies, institutes, organizations and government departments.

These included 67 government service applications, 81 public welfare applications and 92 industrial development applications.

The 20 winning entries were selected by experts from the national engineering research center for big data application technology for governance ability improvements. 

The digital applications are said to represent the latest achievements and needs of Guiyang and Guian in their digital transformations.

Moving forwards, plans are for the Guiyang bureau of big data to follow up with the winners and provide support to give full play to their role in leading digital applications in Guiyang and Guian.

By 2025, the bureau aims to help create more than 1,000 digital applications.
