The Global Big Data Exchange in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Suzhou Big Data Exchange in East China's Jiangsu province on Sept 1.

The agreement is expected to accelerate the development of a unified big data market and enhance the value of social data resources.

According to the agreement, both exchanges will focus on close cooperation in data services. They will collaborate on the implementation of data transactions, particularly in application scenarios related to government affairs, insurance, finance, transportation, logistics, healthcare, and the internet.

Through cross-regional collaboration, they aim to build a data industrial chain centered on data circulation and transactions. They will explore the innovative integration of data businesses and work to invigorate their trading markets, thereby facilitating the construction of a unified national market for data.

This strategic partnership is meant to ensure security and compliance. By integrating data resources and promoting the sharing and circulation of industry data, they will contribute to the high-quality development of the digital economy.
