Guizhou University of Commerce students explore Guiyang's big data development

Over 150 Guizhou University of Commerce students participated in the 2024 Cool Guiyang Employment Navigation initiative on Sept 27. The event included a tour of the National Big Data (Guizhou) Comprehensive Pilot Zone Exchange and Experience Center and Guizhou-Cloud Big Data Industry Development Co.

They experienced the city's digital economy, and gained insights into its industrial development, talent policies, and entrepreneurial environment.

At around 9 am, the students arrived at the exhibition center, which showcased Guizhou's big data development achievements and plans. The visit deepened their understanding of the industry and strengthened their determination to contribute to its growth.

They also explored the Zhuchao Apartments, appreciating the amenities designed for young talents, including a gym, library, and café, alongside employment policy presentations.

Students explored the city's history and future plans at the Guiyang Urban and Rural Planning Museum through various multimedia exhibits.

In the afternoon, they visited Guizhou-Cloud Big Data Industry Development Co. They were impressed by the modern work environment and engaged with staff members, gaining valuable insights and inspiration.

This initiative, launched by the CPC Guiyang Municipal Committee's talent office on June 20, aims to involve 2,000 prospective graduates from various universities, allowing them to learn more about Guiyang and encourage them to work in the city.
