Guizhou province is China's first national-level comprehensive big data pilot zone, with Guiyang and Gui'an New Area hailed as the "Data Valley of China."
Over the past decade, Gui'an has established a domestically integrated computing power service system that supports general computing, intelligent computing, and supercomputing.
It has achieved direct network connections with 38 cities nationwide, with an average network latency of less than 20 milliseconds to major cities nationwide. The region's intelligent computing capabilities have advanced rapidly, making it one of the country's most abundant and powerful intelligent computing resource areas.
By 2025, Gui'an aims to have over 600,000 intelligent computing chips, achieve an intelligent computing scale of 200 Eflops, and cultivate more than three industry-leading models. Driven by the artificial intelligence industry, Gui'an's software and service revenue is expected to exceed 80 billion yuan ($10.96 billion), with the combined revenue of Guiyang and Gui'an surpassing 100 billion yuan.
Guizhou's digital economy growth rate has ranked among the nation's best for nine consecutive years. In 2023, the level of deep integration between big data and the real economy in Guizhou reached 46.5, with the added value of the digital economy accounting for 42 percent of GDP.
