The self-driving minibus Robobus, developed in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently launched trial operations in Yeosu, South Korea. It will provide shuttle services for the city's port area.
The Leo P6 model, a collaboration between Guizhou's PIX Moving and South Korea's Treeze, combines PIX Moving's cutting-edge autonomous driving technology with Treeze's expertise in local system integration.
Yeosu, located on South Korea's southern coast, is the second-largest city in Jeollanam-do and a critical hub for seafood distribution and international shipping. Robobus aims to deliver an integrated and sustainable smart mobility solution for both urban and port environments.
PIX Moving's autonomous vehicles are now deployed in over 30 countries and regions, including Spain, Italy, Japan, and the United States.
