The high-quality dataset zone of the Global Big Data Exchange in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has collaborated with 46 ecosystem partners to publish 939 high-quality datasets since launching in 2024, extensively covering key sectors such as financial services, meteorological services, modern agriculture, industrial manufacturing, healthcare, and commercial logistics.
These datasets span multiple modalities, including text, audio, images, and videos, as well as cross-modal data like text-to-speech and optical character recognition. By providing high-quality data fuel for AI model developers, the zone reduces costs associated with data collection, cleaning, processing, and governance, accelerating the innovative application and deep integration of AI technologies across industries.
The Global Big Data Exchange will continue to advance its efforts in high-quality datasets. It will strengthen the dataset supply system by expanding collaborations with more industries and enterprises, tapping into emerging fields to diversify dataset types and scale.
By aligning high-quality datasets with industrial development needs, the exchange aims to achieve precision pairing between dataset supply and industry demand. This strategy is expected to foster high-quality growth in the data industry.
