On April 15, a rail-sea intermodal train departed from Guiyangnan Railway Station, carrying 2,688 metric tons of fertilizer to Beibu Gulf Port in Guangxi. The train is expected to reach Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, in about five days. This marks the first fixed-schedule container train from Guizhou to Beibu Gulf Port as part of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.

Spanning approximately 2,500 kilometers, the train operates on a regular schedule with fixed times, routes, and train numbers. With eight to nine trains expected each month, the service will enhance cross-border transportation for Southwest China's foreign trade, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring stability.

By maintaining a scheduled service, Guiyang will strengthen its role in a four-way international logistics network, connecting RCEP countries and ASEAN to the west, Eurasia to the north, Guangdong to the east, and Beibu Gulf Port and beyond to the south.

In the future, Guizhou plans to increase the trains of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor with new services from Dashuigou, Dulaying, Xiaozhaiba, and Kailixi railway stations to Fangchenggang and Qinzhou Port East.
