The launch ceremony of the "Hong Kong Data Guizhou Computing" initiative and the signing event between Gui'an New Area and Kechuan Retail Systems Co were held on June 13 in Gui'an New Area.

The initiative opens a direct channel for Guizhou's computing power to serve Hong Kong and international markets, while also providing valuable experience for establishing compliant, efficient, and replicable data element circulation mechanisms between the two regions.

According to the agreement, both parties will focus on cooperating to put "Hong Kong Data Guizhou Computing" into practice, marking a breakthrough in Guizhou's exploration of cross-border data circulation mechanisms.

Gui'an has also collaborated with Hong Kong Kechuan Retail Systems Co and China Telecom to initiate Guizhou-Hong Kong computing power and cross-border data cooperation.

A cooperative framework was ultimately established, with China Telecom providing cross-border dedicated lines and computing power, Gui'an supplying supercomputing resources and technical teams, and Kechuan Retail offering Hong Kong-based data sources and application scenarios.

"This complementary partnership will enable Hong Kong enterprises to conduct data storage, computation, and governance in Gui'an via cross-border dedicated lines. It will pioneer exploratory practices in cross-border line applications, data security governance, computing power scheduling models, and data element marketization," explained a representative from the Gui'an bureau of big data and technology innovation.
