Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held an inauguration ceremony on June 16 for enterprises and a digital nomad base at the Xiaolanshan Digital Cultural Industry Village.
The village, which currently hosts 43 enterprises, has formed industrial clusters spanning film investment, content production, program creation, and tech R&D. To strengthen this digital foundation and spur innovation, the district has initiated the digital nomad base.
Centered around co-living compounds, the base offers public spaces, shared workstations, high-speed internet, meeting rooms, and pitching halls. It targets digital creatives in fields like audiovisual production, data annotation, animation design, and content creation, providing a full-cycle service.
The base will provide startup subsidies, one-on-one mentorship, project acceleration, and funding support. For residences, it will provide housing subsidies, instant booking, and furnished rentals.
With the first digital nomad courtyard now operational, plans are underway to develop more than five such compounds within the next two years, while upgrading facilities and services to empower even more digital entrepreneurs.
