At the construction site of the East Data West Computing Gui'an New Area Computing Power Cluster Supporting Project, the main structures of all buildings now stand completed. Work on curtain wall installation, interior and exterior decoration, pipeline networks, road paving, and electromechanical systems is progressing in an orderly manner across several buildings.
The project comprises eight main structures. Buildings No 3 and 4 have been completed and handed over, while the remaining six buildings – including generator facilities, administrative blocks, and production support units – are advancing as scheduled, with overall progress exceeding 85 percent.
The computing power center will attract enterprises involved in film rendering and game development, while also powering the Gui'an Development Cloud Data Center. Currently, 200P of computing power is operational on the Gui'an Development Cloud, with additional capacity to be deployed at this center.
To attract investment, Gui'an Development Group targets R&D and computing services, smart manufacturing, and heavy-asset manufacturing, prioritizing enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Central China specializing in AI, big data, rendering, and digital content.
The group is currently in advanced negotiations with 32 companies and has engaged over 700 emerging digital firms.
